People in England were worried when it started raining apples from the sky in Coventry. People in the region knew storms were in the area, but very few expected to be pelted by fruit on their way home.
Right now the best explanation of the fruit storm is that a mini tornado touched down in an apple orchard and sucked up the fruit. Later, it dumped them on the motorists in Coventry on the B4098. If that is not what happened, the fruit may have come from an airplane flying overhead.
Which explanation do you think is the most likely? The next time you are out during a storm, you may have something else to keep an eye out for -- apples falling from the sky. There's no doubt they would actually hurt if one happened to fall on your head. Have you ever experienced anything like this before?
