Apples Fall From Sky Like Rain in England During Storm

People in England were worried when it started raining apples from the sky in Coventry. People in the region knew storms were in the area, but very few expected to be pelted by fruit on their way home.

The unusual sky apples caused traffic to come to a standstill. People reported that the fruit pummeled their cars. One woman said, "The apples fell out of nowhere. They were small and green and hit the bonnet hard. Everyone had to stop their cars suddenly." Can you imagine a storm of fruit? Right now the best explanation of the fruit storm is that a mini tornado touched down in an apple orchard and sucked up the fruit. Later, it dumped them on the motorists in Coventry on the B4098. If that is not what happened, the fruit may have come from an airplane flying overhead.
