Chinese Defense Ministry warned the United States to be careful in every action and utterance. This warning is given after the U.S. announced a defense arrangement with its allies in Asia to stem the power of China.
Reuters page report was delivered a strong statement by the Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman, Geng Yansheng, local time on Monday, January 9, 2012. "We note the United States issued its defense strategy guide, and we'll be watching closely the impact of military strategy on security developments in the Asia Pacific region and globally," said Geng.
"The allegations leveled at China by the U.S. in this document is totally baseless," Geng added.
"We hope the U.S. will follow the changes, and work together with China and military China objectively and rationally, be careful in every word and deed, and develop a mutually beneficial relationship."
Previously, Washington declared that the U.S. government's new strategy is to increase their military power in Asia in a bid to counter the growing power of China in the Asia Pacific region. On the other hand, the U.S. withdrew its troops from other regions.
In the new U.S. strategy, they would strengthen their military bases in Japan and South Korea. They will also put the Marines, aircraft carriers, and fighter aircraft in the area of Australia
